Being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is so rewarding. Not only do I get to be creative every day, I also get to be a creative coach, offering fresh project ideas and encouragement to my customers and friends. For me, helping someone put together that perfect project for a special occasion is the best feeling in the entire world. After all, creating cards, scrapbook pages, and gift items is about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people you love.
I have been a crafter for many years.... I learned knitting and crochet at my granny's knee, and always enjoy glueing and sticking bits of paper together.,
I worked for a large American corporation for many years and unfortunately time for crafting was snatched, at weekends or holidays. However, when I took very early retirement, I was determined that I would catch up on all those missed moments and really discover all the new crafty options that were available and yes, you've guessed it paper, card and glue came out tops and I now have an 'ology' in card making... (I haven't worked out a proper name, but there must be one). I love to pass on my passion for making anything out of paper and card to anyone of any age.
I have been an Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator for over two years, I run regular Stampin' classes and love it when someone new comes along and so I can introduce them to my lovely stampin pals and to the joys of making a beautiful card from scratch.
I am frequently asked to visit local Women's Institute's to lead craft sessions and whenever there is a competition at my own WI, I am really happy to show the breadth of what can be made.
Making a card using nothing but ink, paper and your own imagination, can be such fun and great excercise for 'those little grey cells' ))
I love to make cards and sell them when I go to craft fairs, and my stash comes into its own when I want to make a card for someone special or when someone asks me to make a special card for one of their loved ones.
I love to make my own backing papers for projects, or make a lovely box for a gift, or just a simple tag - its so easy when you have the right tools.
If you haven't tried Stampin' Up! stamps and ink, do.. they are fab.. and that is from one who was useless! Yes I truly was. When I joined Stampin' Up! I was never going to stamp, I joined to buy the coordinating card and ribbons... but of course if you're crafty you have to have a go, don't you. Wow! was a I surprised when I stamped something using Stampin' Up! ink and Whisper White... and now, well, you won't stop me from getting out a stamp and making something lovely.
